Pepco Toledo will be hosting ABB's 2017 Rolling Road Show on June 13, 2017 from 11:00am -2:00pm. You really shouldn’t miss this interactive showcase featuring the products and platforms that make ABB the global benchmark in drives, controls and automation solutions.
ABB Drives and Controls Rolling Road Show has been a popular and effective sales tool for ABB since 2008, when the first product filled trailer made its way across the United States. Wanting to provide a hands on experience for partners and customers throughout the country, the first roadshow consisted of a couple of pull-behind trailers and static displays of ABB drives and controls products.
As word began to spread on the effectiveness of the trailers and the level of conversation taking place at ABB shows—not to mention the fresh-off-the-grill-burgers—the demand for new stops increased, prompting us to develop a bigger and better experience. Enter two-40 foot double expandable trailer trucks with more square footage and higher weight limits. The interior build-out featured a wide range of product and service solutions from several ABB business units, including Drives and Controls, Low Voltage Products, and Motors. The trucks also brought the hands-on experience up several notches with working interactive demos that showcased ABB products, including ultra-low harmonic, drive/fan, dyne, communication, motor control center, and switchgear demos. Working alongside the static displays of ABB’s automation solutions, these trucks provided an incomparable space for training, on-site seminars, and good, old fashioned show and tell.*
The 2017 version of the Road Show truck features updated interactive displays and demos that showcase how ABB products address harmonics and the laws of affinity, as well as showing the various industry landscapes in which ABB products and services are used and the stories of how ABB continues to keep driving forward through continuous research and development.
