On Monday, August 14th Pepco hosted Eaton’s Industrial Controls in Motion Tour for Lubrizol employees at both their Painesville and Wickliffe locations. The purpose of the event was to showcase new Eaton products, automation lines and control products.

On Tuesday June 27, Pepco employees Brian Goldfarb, Karl Weeber and John Pedone and MarTek Rep Justin Gaull visited Lake Erie Electric to introduce the MarTek product lines Chicken Switch, LongArm, and RackTek, as well as the arc flash safety tools to their employees during a "Lunch and Learn" presentation. These switches allow the user to remotely operate and rack a variety of brands and models of breakers and disconnect handles in high power applications. The switches offer an option beyond the limitations of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Pepco is the first and only distributor of MarTek in Ohio.
In correlation with David Pryjma, Safety Director for IES, Pepco employees worked to set up a “Safety Awareness Cookout” for both divisions on separate days with the main focus being on plant safety solutions, arc flash equipment, tooling, lighting and body protection. The Magnetech division was hosted on June 23rd and Technibus division was hosted on June 27th.
