The Electrical League of Ohio will be hosting a VIP industry event on Thursday, November 3 from 7:30 a.m. -2:00 p.m. at Pepco’s Akron location on 1140 E. Waterloo Road. Pepco and Stark Safety Consultants will be sponsoring the event entitled: Safety First – Product Knowledge Second!

The event will include a course focusing on NFPA 70E Electrical Safe Work Practices that will be given by Steven J. Abbot, President of Stark Safety Consultants and NFPA 70E Certified Training Specialist, as well as lunch and hands-on product demos, sponsored by Pepco.

The NFPA 70E Electrical Safe Work Practices course provides a thorough knowledge of the dangers and recommended safe behaviors for those who work daily around electrical hazards. The presenter will give examples of real life applications which will give attendees a better understanding of regulations regarding electrical and arc flash safety and how to apply them in the field. The detailed information included in this seminar is critical to any qualified electrical worker who is exposed to electrical hazards.

The event should be informative and fun. To confirm your seat for the event, please contact Karen Young at Kyoung@pepconet.com 330-535-3790.
