Pepco’s Akron and Canton facilities hosted a NFPA70E Safety First continuing education class from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday November 3, 2016.  The class, held in conjunction with The Electrical League of Ohio, was presented by Steve Abbott, owner of Stark Safety Consultants.  Fifty attendees from all segments of the industry earned either OCILB or PDH credits for Electrical Safe Work Practices.

Coinciding with the class, the Akron location held a small but effective counter day in the closed drive thru which featured Pepco’s new pipe unloader.  Over one hundred attended the 11:00am to 2:00 pm luncheon and vendor fair which was supported by Pepco Safety (Adrian Griffin), Appleton, Fluke, and Hoffman (Tom Richards and Chris Allshouse), Meltric and Exiscan (Steve Goldschmidt),  3M, Crouse Hinds, and Encore Pull Pro (Ken Bishop), LeGrand lines P&S, Wiremold, and Cabofil (Terry Davidson), and the Greenlee truck display (Vince Scurto).
